Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians seeks a Dispatch Shift Manager for the Security Operations Center. The role supervises dispatch staff, coordinates emergency and non-emergency communications, and ensures adherence to procedures across CAD, radio, and alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume public safety environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Typing speed 35 wpm with 90% accuracy or better.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispatchers in receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency calls; monitor phone and radio traffic for procedure adherence.
• Investigate incidents promptly; analyze policies and recommend improvements.
• Act as DPS SOC representative to internal staff, vendors, and guests; manage inquiries and notifications.
• Deliver reports and analyze CAD data to improve operations and performance.
• Operate CAD, phone, and radio systems; coordinate with management on events.
• Oversee alarm monitoring and surveillance reviews to identify suspicious activity.
• Conduct threat analyses and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Perform other duties to support efficient department operations.
