Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Sparks, NV. This full-time, unarmed role supports a utilities location, performing routine patrols, monitoring access, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents while delivering professional customer service.

You will drive to the site, communicate effectively with staff and visitors, and follow site protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have a valid driver's license per policy.
Experience in customer service or security preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual conditions, damaged property, or potential hazards and promptly report observations through established communication channels.
Control access to designated areas by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
