Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking an energetic Dispatch Manager in Sioux Falls to lead moving crews and manage daily operations. You will coordinate staffing, fleet maintenance, and safety while working with customers, vendors, and staff to meet goals and standards.

Responsibilities include directing dispatch, training and motivating teams, and ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance. The role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and coordinate scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew.
• Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory.
• Lead mover/driver training and motivate the team; implement recognition programs.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA guidelines.
• Serve as the on-call contact outside regular business hours.
• All other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine staffing requirements and facilitating the hiring process; coordinating employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew
• Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
• Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation and corrective action programs
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
• Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of regular business hours
• Conduct safety spot checks during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution Develop and implement an employee recognition program
• All other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Job Requirements

• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Willing to obtain a DOT Physical
• Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task

Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards; however, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds may be necessary. Local travel in a company vehicle may be required.
