Capitol Materials Coastal, Inc. - Conway is seeking an assistant dispatcher to support the Dispatcher/Operations Manager in directing and coordinating the ordering and delivery of materials to customers in day-to-day operations.

The candidate should have a GED (some college preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience, along with strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities to ensure efficient service in Conway, SC.

Qualifications

• GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials to customers.
• Maintain warehousing, receiving, and distribution operations per policies.
• Schedule and assign delivery staff to meet service goals.
• Coordinate with personnel to ensure service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Loss Control programs; support risk management efforts.
• Collaborate with Safety director and risk management to reduce losses.
