Barnhart is seeking a Dispatcher in Shreveport, LA to coordinate operators, drivers and crews, schedule equipment, and secure routing plans for oversized loads. You will serve as the main contact for customers, manage daily planning, and support site offices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch operators, drivers, and crews to job sites daily.
• Schedule crews and equipment using dispatch software.
• Secure routing plans and permits for oversized and overweight loads.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, answer calls, size equipment needs, and assist with crane services.
• Collect and review employee timecards daily and submit weekly reports to the branch manager and payroll team.
• Support the office manager, sales team, and other staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Participate in team meetings, including daily planning sessions and occasional management discussions.
