Job summary

Merchants Distributors, LLC in South Carolina is seeking an Administrative Dispatch Support to assist the Transportation team with load paperwork, driver communications, scheduling updates, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will support dispatch activities, coordinate with drivers and warehouses, enter data into internal systems, and help train new staff on CAMS, MOBI, and Mainframe as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispatching drivers by preparing load paperwork and trip instructions.
• Communicate route assignments and delivery expectations to drivers.
• Monitor delivery progress and maintain driver and management communication.
• Update schedules and adjust as directed by leadership.
• Print, assemble, and organize trip documentation after loads are released.
• Maintain dispatch logs and transportation documentation.
• Enter driver, trip, and routing data into internal systems.
• Provide updates on schedule changes and delays to drivers.
• Answer calls and resolve inquiries or escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to support load execution.
• Assist with training new employees on dispatch systems (CAMS, MOBI, Mainframe).
