Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. seeks a dispatch supervisor to assist with UPS Small Package dispatch activity, ensuring timely service and safety compliance. You will coordinate planning, oversee load/yard operations, and maintain equipment readiness and trailer inventory.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred), ability to lift 70 lbs, and flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week. Strong communication and MS Office skills, plus management experience, are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Minimum ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kgs).
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and review UPS Small Package dispatch activity to ensure timely and proficient service.
• Coordinate dispatch planning and ensure service, safety, and cost goals are met.
• Oversee load and tractor planning, track equipment, and confirm trailer inventory.
• Review and analyze dispatch and service reports and schedules.
• Create efficient dispatch plans and verify service levels, incorporating new customers, locations, and loads.
• Oversee yard operations, coordinate drivers with load volume, and ensure proper trailer location and loading status.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of driver hours and conduct safety-related audits.
