Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a motivated Dispatch Coordinator to join our Operations Team. You will route daily deliveries to Delivery Technicians and coordinate with Customer Service to manage orders while maintaining clear communication about delays and issues.

The role requires detail orientation, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and strong people skills to interact with patients and colleagues. Medical equipment knowledge is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Route daily deliveries to Delivery Technicians; redeploy drivers to manage same-day and emergent orders.
• Coordinate deliveries, services and shipments with Customer Service to schedule and communicate delays or issues.
• Assist in equipment cleaning and processing, labeling and storage in the warehouse; document repairs as needed.
• Attend manufacturer training on new products to be repaired on site.
• Oversee maintenance and route service Delivery Technicians for in-home preventative maintenance program for PHM-owned equipment.
• Maintain vehicle files and concentrator check logs; ensure compliance and tracking.
• Troubleshoot product-related issues and provide timely support to ensure smooth operations.

As a Dispatch Coordinator you must be responsible, reliable, detail orientated and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must also have good people skills to deal with patients and peers amongst several departments. We also offer a comprehensive onboarding and training program to help ensure your success.Job descriptions and needs would entail but not limited to:Routing of daily deliveries to Delivery Technicians and re-deploys drivers throughout the day to effectively manage all same day and emergent orders received.Coordinates deliveries, services and shipments with Customer Service Representatives as needed to schedule, provide delivery expectations and assure effective communication of any delays, issues or required assistance needed to provide timely delivery per policy.Responsible to assist in equipment cleaning and processing of dirty equipment including proper labeling and storage in the warehouse. Documents per policy.Makes minor repairs to equipment as needed to assure safe operation of equipment and documents repairs per policy.
