Job summary

Ak Steel Holding is seeking a Dispatch and Coil Store In-Charge to manage dispatch activities, interplant transfers, and coil inventory control at PRS-KB and PLT-K. You will handle RM management for steel coils and outsourced blanks, along with daily inventory reporting and planning for spare parts.

Responsibilities include raw material receiving and issuance for production, SRV creation, and dispatch of coil for job work.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical/Automobile engg. required.
• 3–6 years of work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with steel/coil or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Handling interplant transfer activities (E-way, Invoice, Challan generation)
2. RM Management (Steel coils and outsourced blanks)
3. Coil inventory and outsource blanks inventory control and variance analysis
4. Daily preparation of coil and outsourced blanks inventory reports
5. Spare parts production and dispatch planning to achieve FN spare plan
6. Raw material receiving and issuance for production (SRV creation)
7. Raw material (Coil) dispatch for job work and receiving

Competencies / Skills

Technical/Functional:

1. Have understanding of production scheduling
2. Ability to identify & resolve IT system issues
3. Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook and MS office
4. Basic understanding of production planning principles
5. Hendon experience in transaction in IT system

Behavioural:

1. Good communication skills & customer handling.
2. Disciplined & must follow all the rules & guidelines in the shop floor.
3. Ability to work as a team leader.
