Job summary

Eversource is seeking a dispatcher for the ESCC to ensure safe, reliable operation of generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. The role involves real-time SCADA monitoring, switching coordination, and contingency planning across the New England grid.

Starting pay is $63.02 per hour. Candidates must be able to travel between MA/CT/NH as needed and obtain NERC certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• Five years of related dispatching experience in generation, transmission or distribution.
• Associate degree or two years of formal military/technical training is required; higher education preferred.
• Ability to obtain NERC certification within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, approve and issue switching, grounding and tagging requirements.
• Analyze outages and assist restoration of customer loads.
• Monitor real-time system status and coordinate with ISO-NE and Local Control Centers.
