Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Dispatch Analyst to optimize the delivery network using ORTEC routing software. This hybrid role requires four in-office days and involves planning routes, coordinating with warehouse and sales, and ensuring on-time service.

You will analyze route performance, manage data, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring DOT Hours of Service and safety compliance across the network. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business analytics or related field.
• 2+ years of data analytics experience.
• Dispatching, routing, or transportation operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with ORTEC routing and optimization software preferred.
• Strong understanding of delivery operations, DOT/HOS, and driver workflows.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and publish daily delivery routes using ORTEC based on volume, requirements, driver hours, equipment, and service windows.
• Dispatch drivers daily and provide clear route and service expectations.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and customer service to align load readiness and delivery priorities.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify routing improvement opportunities within ORTEC.
• Support contingency planning and respond to weather or operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service planning and company safety policies.
