Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support cooks, servers, bartenders, guests and members. You will provide clean and sanitized dishes, utensils and pots, and maintain high sanitary standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot, wet environments. A Florida driver’s license is required, and basic food prep skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.
• Basic food prep a plus.
• Understanding of clean and sanitary principles.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual at all times.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Familiarize with machinery and safety features.
• Know hazardous chemicals and MSDS.
• Handle trash cans and mats at shift start.
• Set up dishwasher and inform supervisor of problems.
• Ensure all pots, pans, glasses, and plates are clean.
• Set up pre-soak for silverware and process through dishwasher.
• Participate in kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Perform tasks as requested by kitchen staff.
• Complete shift by cleaning area and disposing waste.
• Assist in efficient kitchen operations as directed by supervisors.
