Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow procedures and direction consistently.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills.
• Prior dishwashing/stewarding experience preferred.
• Hotel industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and service areas.
• Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of clean wares.
• Support banquet and culinary operations with sanitation support.
• Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Remove waste and recycling as per procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Transport and store china, glassware, and utensils used in operations.
• Ensure stock levels of equipment in kitchens and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and temperature controls.
• Assist with food & beverage operations for events when needed.
