Valor in the United States seeks a diligent dishroom attendant to maintain high sanitation standards and keep the kitchen area clean and organized. You will load and operate dishwashing equipment, rinse and stock dishes, and assist kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have basic education, some experience, and a focus on accuracy and safety. The role supports a dynamic hospitality team with opportunities for growth and recognition within a global hospitality management

Qualifikationen

• Some high school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must have vision ability to see minute objects at arm’s length, to read meters and controls.
• Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to grasp dishes, push, pull, carry and lift racks.
• Must be able to understand and follow written or verbal instruction or instruction by example.
• Have the ability to keep breakage to a minimum by handling china, glassware and fragile equipment with care.

Aufgaben

• Gathers all dirty dishware from tubs, rinses and stacks in dish racks, clears leftovers.
• Load full dish racks on belt and ensure correct placement for machine.
• Operate an automatic dish wash machine using controls as instructed.
• Load dishwashing solutions and regulate detergents and chemicals.
• Unload clean dishes and stack in carts for staff use.
• Manually scrub pots, pans and equipment not washed automatically.
• Inspect cleanliness and dry by hand before putting away.
• Polish silver, stainless steel and pewter used in service.
• Maintain dishwashing equipment in good condition per manufacturer instructions.
• Keep dish room clean and orderly to meet health compliance requirements.
• Mop floors, clean surfaces, and manage trash and debris daily.
• Maintain break room and restrooms; restock supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
