Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain supplies of clean plates, cookware, utensils, and equipment during peak service.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Return clean cookware and service items to correct areas promptly.
• Sweep, mop, and clean BOH areas per schedule.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly throughout the shift.
• Follow proper handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitation products.
• Adhere to NYC health department rules and restaurant sanitation standards.
• Assist with organization of walk-ins and dry storage.
• Contribute to a professional, respectful kitchen culture.
