TAO Uptown Restaurant in New York is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our fast-paced hospitality team. You will maintain clean dishes, cookware, and station areas while following safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to move quickly and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service/kitchen wares are clean and sanitized.
• Interact with team members and supervisors in a polite, courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, kitchen, and venue.
• Follow supervisor instructions and support co-workers as a team.
• Know how to operate the dish machine and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Set up dish station and perform opening/closing procedures as directed.
• Stock stations with necessary supplies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report breakage or damage to management.
• Attend daily pre-service meetings and training sessions.
