Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated dishwashing teammate to maintain cleanliness of the dish area, equipment, and serviceware, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction. You will scrape, rinse, wash, sanitize, and store items, assist with trash disposal, and support BOH/FOH staff in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate designated equipment, or as required by state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that the dish machine is functioning properly and that chemical levels are maintained throughout the shift.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes, and properly load and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all utensils, glassware, and dishware.
• Clean pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash and garbage in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding workspaces.
• Sort, stock, and organize clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and maintain the three-compartment sink as needed.
• Support team efficiency by maintaining a steady flow of clean items for kitchen and service staff.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and supporting timely service.
• Clean, sanitize, and mop various areas of the kitchen and restaurant.
• Work closely with BOH and FOH Team Members in a fast-paced environment.
