Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness of all dish areas, equipment, utensils, and serviceware. You will load the dish machine, scrape and rinse, wash and sanitize items, and support a smooth flow of kitchen operations.

Boarding requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety standards. Training will be provided to ensure high cleanliness and efficiency in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify dish machine operation and chemical levels
• Scrape and rinse dishes, load and operate dishwashing equipment
• Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, glassware, and dishware
• Clean pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash in designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding workspaces
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and maintain three-compartment sink
• Support team efficiency by ensuring a steady flow of clean items
• Clean, sanitize, and mop kitchen areas and restaurant surfaces
• Work with BOH and FOH teams in a fast-paced environment
• Complete all assigned cleaning tasks and side work as directed
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
