Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Dishwashing Team Member to maintain cleanliness of dish areas, equipment, and serviceware in a fast-paced restaurant setting in Iowa. You will support efficient operations by ensuring a steady flow of clean items for culinary and service staff.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety guidelines to handle cleaning chemicals and warewashing procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate designated equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and maintain cleanliness.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that the dish machine is functioning properly and that chemical levels are maintained throughout the shift.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes, and properly load and operate dishwashing equipment.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all utensils, glassware, and dishware.
• Clean pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand using proper warewashing procedures.
• Sort, remove, and dispose of trash and garbage in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and surrounding workspaces.
• Sort, stock, and organize clean glassware, utensils, and dishware.
• Change dish machine chemicals, water, and maintain the three-compartment sink as needed.
• Support team efficiency by maintaining a steady flow of clean items for kitchen and service staff.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and supporting timely service.
• Additional Duties: Clean, sanitize, and mop various areas of the kitchen and restaurant.
