Foxdale Village is a Quaker-directed, non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in State College, PA. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our dedicated Dining Department.

The position of Dishwasher/Utility Worker is responsible for performing the essential job duties of:

• Operate the dish machine, including cleaning, de-liming, and properly maintaining.
• Trash removal.
• Complete sanitation logs and report any deficiencies to the head cook or management.
• Record temperatures of wash and rinse cycles of the dish machine during each meal.
• Wash pots, pans, and utensils as needed.
• Pull food carts and clean inside and out, as necessary.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the head cook or management team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a dish machine or similar work experience is preferred.
• This position must be able to follow both written and oral directions and effectively communicate in English with staff and residents.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift regularly in order to complete job duties.
• Able to work holidays and weekends as part of a rotating work schedule.
• Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance profile.
