Job summary

Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a kitchen/utility team member to help keep the dining operation running smoothly. The role covers kitchen, dining, and storage areas, with emphasis on organization, cleanliness, and food prep support.

Full-time with benefits in Short Pump, VA. Night-time hours are avoided, and a supportive team environment is offered with growth opportunities within Avery Point and Erickson Senior Living.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking.
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including PPE.

Location & Compensation

Location: Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living Compensation: $15.50/hr - $16.50/hr, based on experience. Full Time with benefits, no late nights. Out by 9pm.

How you will make an impact

Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas.

Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking.

Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).

What you will need

Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferred.

Ability to follow written instructions and schedules.

Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
