Job summary

Onni Group is seeking a reliable Dishwasher in Chicago for a part-time role. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes and kitchen tools to keep the back-of-house running smoothly during service.

No prior experience is required, though restaurant or BOH exposure is a plus. Candidates should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; restaurant or BOH experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to health code standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and related equipment.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces) per schedule.
• Restock clean plates and kitchen tools at stations as needed.
• Support prep and line cooks with basic tasks when required.
