Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated kitchen and dining assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment for residents. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes and equipment, and help keep floors and rooms orderly while supporting daily meal service.

You’ll work with the Culinary Services team and wait staff to ensure a restaurant-style dining experience and high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with preparation and execution of dining programs and events.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and food safety practices.
