Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen and Dining Assistant at a New Jersey community. You will maintain the kitchen and dining areas, wash and sanitize dishes, and assist staff to deliver quality meals for residents.

You will work closely with Culinary Services leadership to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and friendly service while supporting residents’ dining experiences and events.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other equipment.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Coordinate with Culinary Services/Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with dining.
• Keep kitchen and dish areas in a safe, sanitary condition at all times.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
