Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is hiring a Dishwasher for Oakmont of San Jose, a premier senior living community. The role involves returning dishes to the kitchen, cleaning, sanitizing, and storing them per company standards.

Shifts run 6am-2pm Tuesday through Saturday, with benefits outlined in the employee program. Responsibilities include dish room prep, transporting and sanitizing items, assisting with kitchen break-down, and maintaining a safe, clean dining environment while supporting resident

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including TB tests.
• Vaccination and health-safety requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish area prior to meal service.
• Transport, wash, sanitize and store dishes and utensils.
• Assist in kitchen cleanup and sanitation of dish room and dining areas.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff.
