Dishwasher - Private School | Location: Ross, CA 94957

Compensation: $22-$23 per hour | Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm, with some evening and weekends during heavy catering months.

Job Summary

What You’ll Do
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for service and kitchen areas
  • Bag and haul trash and cardboard at designated times
  • Handle dishware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Adheres to dress code, wears approved uniform and name badge at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

  • No minimum experience needed, but the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment is key!
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively; a strong command of the English language is a must.
  • Essential requirements are a positive attitude, drive, and self-accountability.
  • The ability to work as a part of a team is non-negotiable.
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.

Physical and Sensory Requirements
  • This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
