Job summary

Marina Station in Hiawassee, GA is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep for the seasonal period. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of china, glassware, and utensils using machine and manual methods, while ensuring a safe, sanitary work area.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, and involves heavy cleaning duties, food prep support, and equipment care as outlined in the description.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent is Required.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas.
• Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Sweep/mop floors and clean restrooms as directed.
