Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Porter/Dishwasher in our Boston area DIG kitchen. Pay is $16–$18 per hour plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. You will learn multiple kitchen stations and support the team during busy periods while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep.
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
• Help to maintain the “A” lettergrade by following Department of Health and DIG food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold DIG’s anti-discrimination & anti-harassment policies.
