Job summary

The Melting Pot in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will operate a chemical dish machine and a 3-compartment sink, ensuring clean glassware and dishes while maintaining a sanitary work area.

You will also assist in meal prep, including salads, entrees, chocolate fondue, sauces, and dressings following our recipes. Availability from 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and 5pm to 12am on weekends/holidays is required.

Job Overview

We are seeking to hire a new member to join our kitchen staff as a Dishwasher / Prep Cook. You will be in charge of operating a chemical dish machine and 3 compartment sink. Responsible for maintaining clean glassware and dishes for our restaurant as well as maintaining a clean work environment. You will also assist in preping meals for our guests consisting of preparing salads, entree preparation, chocolate fondue, and making sauces and dressings according to our company recipes. Ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and must be available to work from 5pm to 10pm on weekdays, 5pm to 12pm on weekends and holidays.

What you will do:

• Ensuring clean plates and prep equipment for use by our staff and guests.


• Operation of 3 compartment sink and chemical dishwasher.

• Ahering to all required food safety standards.


• Attention to detail and the desire to provide only excellent level product.

• Adhere to company standards and recipes when prepping food items.


• Knowledgeable in standard food safety and preparation protocols.


• Maintaining a clean work area throughout the shift and for closing.
