Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen in Florida is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. You will collect used dishes, load and operate dishwashing machines, and stock clean dishes while keeping work areas sanitary.

The role requires shifts, including evenings and weekends, and in-person work. You will assist with kitchen prep as needed and support the team to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dishwasher or with wait staff is preferred.
• Experience with industrial dishwashers is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks.
• Time management and attention to sanitation.
• Shift availability including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and report issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
