Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, we are seeking a Dishwasher. The purpose of this position is to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain the orderliness of all nutrition services storage areas. The role also involves assisting in other kitchen areas with maintenance of the dish room and equipment, all in accordance with the dining services department's standard procedures.

In this role, the Dishwasher will:

• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion daily.
• Transport carts to and from dining areas.
• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Monitor and record water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
• Perform cleaning assignments as directed.
• Clean and wash food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and store them properly.
• Use proper sanitation in all food and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
• Deliver food requests to stations as needed.
• Keep kitchen work areas and dining rooms free of dirty dishes.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as directed.
• Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
• Assist in transporting residents during emergencies according to procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous relevant experience (required).
• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written (required).

Compensation Pay Range:

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $ - $ (actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and internal/external equity).
