Boston College in Massachusetts is seeking a Utility Worker / Dishwasher to support busy dining facilities. Under supervision, you will clean, handle and transport dishes, glassware, utensils and pots, sweep and mop floors, and operate cleaning equipment while maintaining sanitation and safety.
The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read and write English, and thrive in a fast-paced, diverse team.

Under supervision, performs assigned tasks associated with cleaning, handling, and transporting of dishes, glassware, silver, utensils, pots and pans. Other duties involve sweeping and moping of floors, cleaning of equipment in kitchen and dining rooms. Daily routine involves the use and handling of detergents and cleaning solvents. Heavy lifting is necessary.
Reports to Lead Utility Worker and unit managers on a daily basis.
May assist in monitoring student employees.
