Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in racks; uses dishwasher as required.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using equipment as directed and maintains cleanliness.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and manages waste containers.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas; assists with unloading.
