Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, cookware, and utensils. You will support kitchen operations and ensure a safe, efficient dish area.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, organizing supply areas, and assisting with basic food prep. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; a valid Food Handlers Certification is needed.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and proper hygiene practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Experience with bar/restaurant POS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Sort and store clean items; keep dishwashing area clean and organized.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep and support smooth workflow.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and proper waste disposal.
• Communicate with kitchen and staff to coordinate tasks and timing.
• Be flexible to help in other areas of the kitchen or restaurant as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
