Job summary

COLD BEERS & CHEESEBURGERS - PECOS is seeking a diligent Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas in a fast-paced setting. You will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, help with basic food prep, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work evenings and weekends, and a valid Food Handlers Certification. Training is provided for POS systems and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and proper handling/storage of food items.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and store in designated areas; keep dishwashing area clean.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and coordinate with culinary team.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and proper chemical handling.
• Communicate with kitchen and staff to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
• Be flexible to assist in other kitchen or restaurant areas as needed, including evenings and holidays.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
