Savant Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher in Downey, CA to keep dishes, utensils, pots, and pans clean and sanitary for our dining and kitchen areas. You will support the culinary team, help maintain cleanliness, and ensure items are stored properly while following safety protocols.

The role requires adherence to health screenings and food handling regulations, including PPE and safety practices, with opportunities to contribute to a positive resident dining experience.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience or ability to operate dishwashing equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene.
• Ability to follow PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all items to meet food safety standards.
• Follow procedures for proper handling, washing, and storing of cleaned items.
• Maintain a steady supply of clean dishes for the kitchen.
• Support kitchen cleanup by removing trash and maintaining cleanliness.
• Maintain weekly/monthly cleaning schedules for equipment and area.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including PPE.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
