Meriwether Godsey, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Utility Steward/Dishwasher at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, operating a dishwasher or washing by hand, and supporting kitchen staff during peak times.

Expect a fast-paced environment with shift from 12pm–8pm, competitive hourly pay, and benefits. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is recommended.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain sanitation of the kitchen, cafeteria, dining room, and other areas assigned by Management.
• Clean plates, trays, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using an industrial dishwasher or by hand.
• Consistently adhere to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
• Perform general cleaning, as directed, to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, and emptying of trash bins and boxes, ensuring placement in the correct containers
• Ensure an appropriate cleaning schedule is maintained for utility areas and equipment
• Follow all food safety protocols; receive and put away stock/deliveries in designated storage areas
• Assist prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
