Job summary

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Utility Steward-Dishwasher at a premier Catholic Seminary located in Gwynedd County, PA. The role involves operating the dish machine to clean and sanitize items, and assisting in cafeteria setup to ensure smooth service.

The position offers a stable schedule with pay of $18 per hour; candidates must pass an FBI background check and have at least 1 year of dishwashing experience.

Qualifications

• FBI background check required.
• Minimum 1 year of dishwashing experience.
• Ability to work Monday-Wednesday 8a-4p and Saturday-Sunday 11a-7p.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and work in a hot environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dish machine to clean and sanitize dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans.
• Note and record dish-machine temperatures and report malfunctions.
• Transport supplies and assist in cafeteria setup.
• Clean cafeteria areas and replenish to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Set up and use a three-compartment sink for pots and pans.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation, sweep/mop floors, and remove trash.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and ensure food safety.
• Perform duties in line with food safety and sanitation best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
