Job summary

Meriwether Godsey, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Utility Steward-Dishwasher for a premier Catholic Seminary in Gwynedd County, PA. The role requires handling dishwashing duties, maintaining sanitation, and supporting cafeteria operations.

The ideal candidate will have prior dishwashing experience, be able to pass an FBI background check, and work a schedule including Monday–Wednesday 8a-4p and weekends. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• FBI background check required.
• 1 year of dishwashing experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to switch between tasks as needed.
• Reliability and willingness to work in a hot, humid environment.
• Ability to stand/move for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Adherence to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation; no public transit to the school.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dish machine for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots and pans.
• Note and record dish-machine temperatures, reporting any low readings or malfunctions.
• Transport related supplies and assist in cafeteria setup.
• Clean cafeteria areas during and after meal periods and replenish them to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Set up and use a three-compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas (sweeping, mopping, trash removal).
• Assist with receiving and storage of food products and food preparation following safety procedures.
• Perform all duties in line with food safety and sanitation best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
