Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is looking for a Dishwasher/Steward to support the dining team on site. You will clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include light food prep, multitasking across tasks, and maintaining professional appearance. The role requires on-site work and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for everything involved in the experience of a dining establishment, besides actually cooking the food.
• Responsible for minor food preparation.
• Perform a variety of duties and responsibilities every shift.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and have a flexible work style.
• Responsible for making sure all plates, glasses, bowls and silverware are perfectly cleaned between uses.
• Uses industrial dishwashers followed by hand polishing to remove leftover smudges.
• Makes sure the kitchen and storage areas are kept clean at all times.
• Clean industrial kitchen appliances, such as stoves, grills, freezers and ovens.
• Must meet health and safety standards at all times.
• Have a clean and professional appearance at all times by wearing appropriate dress, covering tattoos and maintaining facial hair.
• Requires the safe use of commercial dishwashers, glass washers, basic culinary tools and commercial cutlery.
• Follow and support Service Commitment and Core Values.
• All other duties, as assigned.
