Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwasher to handle dishwashing and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area. You will provide courteous, friendly service to customers and team members while following SOPs and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining kitchen and floor cleanliness, assisting with deliveries, and supporting store operations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows established procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; keeps equipment clean per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and pricing accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
