Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Kitchen/Diswash role focused on maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and food prep areas. You will wash dishes, support inventory, and assist with deliveries while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include following health and safety regulations, keeping work areas clean, and contributing to a positive store image. Flexible schedule and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for 6–8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Must follow health, safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assists with deliveries, storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides courteous, friendly service to customers and team members; supports suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains a clean, safe working environment.
• Performs opening, mid and closing duties and supports leadership as needed.
