Job summary

Flanigan’s is seeking a dedicated team member to maintain clean, sanitized dishware and kitchen areas. You will follow sanitation policies, handle opening/closing duties, and support fellow staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning throughout shifts, and maintaining the dish machine. Must meet safety standards and pass the required food safety certification program.

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift.
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift.
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
