Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Downey, CA is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our dining services in the assisted living facility. You will clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, maintain clean storage areas, and aid the culinary team to deliver high-quality meals to residents.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, following food safety procedures, wearing PPE, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Health Screening, TB Clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance required.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all items to meet food safety standards.
• Follow established procedures for proper handling, washing, and storing of cleaned items.
• Assist culinary team by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils.
• Support kitchen cleanup by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness.
