Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Los Angeles is seeking a Dishwasher to support our dining service operations. You will be responsible for sanitation, cleaning of kitchen equipment, and ensuring dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized, and stored safely for use.

We value reliable, team-oriented individuals who communicate clearly in English and are able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Shifts include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
