Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities in Ohio is seeking a Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep to help deliver a great dining experience for our residents. You’ll prepare, stock, and maintain a fresh salad bar and support the dining room by bussing tables and keeping areas clean.

You will safely wash and sanitize dishware and cookware, operate the dish machine, and assist in daily food prep. No culinary experience is required, and you’ll have opportunities to grow in a supportive, resort-style community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work weekends and specific shifts.
• Basic English reading/speaking required.
• No previous culinary experience required.
• Able to obtain food handler permits within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine by loading, running, unloading, and reporting any mechanical issues; monitor/log water temperatures for sanitization.
• Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware; maintain a clean dish room and ensure adequate clean items.
• Clean food prep and production areas; assist in the dining room by bussing tables, filling water carafes, setting tables, and delivering room-service orders.
• Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and kitchen tools, including sharp utensils and small appliances to support daily prep.
• Listen and respond politely to food comments or complaints and report concerns to leadership.
• Perform support work and any additional tasks, including trash removal.
