Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated team member for dish and kitchen sanitation duties in Pennsylvania. The role involves washing and sanitizing wares, maintaining a clean kitchen area, and assisting with deliveries and storage.

You’ll provide friendly customer service, answer phones, and help with merchandising while following health and safety standards. The position requires flexible scheduling, ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows established procedures, including health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment and ensures equipment is maintained to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
