Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a reliable dishwashing/kitchen support team member to keep dishes clean and the kitchen area sanitary in a fast-paced retail kitchen environment.

You will contribute to food safety, assist with deliveries, and help maintain overall store cleanliness, while delivering courteous service to customers and team members. Training and shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; equipment upkeep.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
