Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated team member to perform dishwashing and keep the kitchen area clean and organized. You will support deliveries, manage stock rotation, and uphold health and sanitation standards while delivering courteous service to customers and teammates.

Responsibilities include washing wares, maintaining floors and shelves, and assisting with signage, pricing, and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing are accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and other duties as assigned by leadership.
