Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing associate to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and support store operations. You will wash dishes, assist with deliveries, and uphold health and sanitation standards while delivering courteous service to customers and team members.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, proper storage and rotation of products, and adherence to procedures. No prior retail experience is required, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Willingness to follow direction and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
